Lady of the Night
Lady of The Night
by Intoxcy8me
She looks so exotic, this lady of the night.
Her hair curled, mascara, just right.
Little black dress, meant to impress,
checkmating you in her game of chess.
Drinking the latest flavored vodka craze,
soaking in all the continuous praise
that both sexes offer and she doesn't mind.
Adjusting her dress to reveal her full behind.
High heels on, toes painted red.
If she winks at you, she leaves you dead.
Smoking Capris, but only for effect;
an oral delight that leaves you wrecked.
Her tattoos tell a story she's willing to tell.
She'll take you to Heaven, then back to Hell.
Piercings, a promise, that she has more.
She exhales a thin line, you drop to the floor.
Midnight approaches and she gets up to leave;
feigns disinterest, she means to deceive.
Then catches you staring directly at her chest;
her eyes fixate on you, disregards the rest.
Handing you her room key, as she walks by,
you earn the envy of every girl and guy.
You rush outside and she's waiting there.
You can't even speak; only stare.
Her room smells of perfume and potpourri.
She loosens your tie, shaking the leaves on your tree.
She pours you a drink and runs her hands through your hair.
Of the drugs you just drank, you were never aware.
The morning comes and she's nowhere to be found.
You are all alone, laying on the ground
in the alleyway, behind a Chinese restaurant.
Scratches and smeared lipstick rewards from your jaunt.
No wallet, no watch, even your belt is missing.
No phone to call the cops about the girl you were kissing.
A lesson learned, sage wisdom and insight;
beware of the temptress, lady of the night.
